Lübeck, 9 May 2014. "Lübeck undeniably unforgettable" – the new IKEA furniture store and the LUV SHOPPING shopping centre in Lübeck are partners for the 34th international Hansa Convention from 22 to 25 May 2014.
Since the middle of March, IKEA has also been at home in the Hanseatic city. "Our vision is to create a better everyday life for many people", says furniture store manager, Karin Reuchlen. "Our furniture stores bring everything for home life to a city, and have also done so here in Lübeck since 14 March." Behind this lies an initiative in which tourists visiting the Hansa Convention can be invite themselves to private homes for a coffee. The chairs subsequently remain the hosts. "In addition, we are sponsoring the tableware for a brunch on the Obertrave", says Karin Reuchlen, "and we provided the Hansa cabins, in which delegates from the other Hanseatic cities will present themselves, at an excellent price."
