shopping centre locatin Wallau IKEA

The centre in Wallau in the heart of the Rhine/Main region is the longest established of all our locations. It opened as a retail park in 1987 and has already been modernised once since then. IKEA's German head office is also based here.
The location became HOMEPARK SHOPPING Wallau with the next expansion and was opened on 21.8.2014.

The perfect concept

Since it was built the center has continued its attractive development: through demolition and rebuilding new retail areas and more shops have been added with HOMEPARK SHOPPING Wallau in 2014. In the two level building complex visitors will find at DECATHLON, expert klein and SPIELE MAX a wide range of stylish and high quality offers from furniture, lamps and living accessories to sport equipment, consumer electronics and toys, in family-friendly and modern surroundings. The existing gastronomical offering with Mc Donald's and Mc Café completes the experience for the whole family. As one of the first IKEA sites in Germany, Wallau has been a well-established and highly frequented location for decades.

The perfect location

Wallau is ideally connected in all directions by the A3 and A66 motorways; it is centrally located in the vibrant, densely-populated Rhine-Main region, the most active economic region at the heart of Germany. In addition to the financial hub of Frankfurt/Main with its international airport, you can find such cities as Wiesbaden, Mainz and Darmstadt, which are all within the catchment area of the retail park. More than 90,000 companies are based here.
